Every morning, Pam wakes up early. She makes coffee and opens her laptop because she works from home. Her office is a small corner in the living room, but she loves it. It is quiet and comfortable in the morning.

Daniel comes downstairs. He is still sleepy, but he is hungry too. Pam looks at him and laughs. "Sit down," she tells him. "I can make you some eggs." Daniel sits at the kitchen table and checks his phone while he waits. Pam puts the eggs in front of him and he thanks her.

After breakfast, they both go to their own spaces — she to her laptop, and he to his room. The house is calm. Pam drinks her coffee slowly and starts her day.

Ellie has a math test today and she is nervous. She studies a lot, but sometimes the numbers confuse her. Her teacher is nice and always explains things clearly to the class. Before the test, the teacher looks at her students and tells them: "You can do it. I believe in you."

Ellie opens her test paper and reads the first question. It is not so difficult! She answers it quickly and moves to the next one. Her pencil moves fast across the page.

After school, Daniel is waiting for her at the bus stop. He asks her about the test. She tells him it was okay. "I think I did well," she says. He smiles at her. "I knew you could do it." They take the bus home together and talk about their plans for the weekend.

Ray arrives at the office at 8 in the morning. He puts his bag under his desk, turns on his computer, and makes a cup of coffee. He needs it — it is going to be a long day. His boss sends him a lot of emails and he answers them one by one.

A coworker named Marco comes to his desk. He has a problem with a report and he needs help. Ray listens to him carefully and then looks at the numbers on his screen. "I can fix this for you," Ray tells him. Marco thanks him and goes back to his desk.

At the end of the day, Ray calls Pam. He tells her he is leaving the office now. She asks him to buy milk on his way home. He writes it on his hand so he doesn't forget it. Their house is thirty minutes away, and he is happy to go back to his family.

Angie loves the mall. She goes there almost every weekend. This Saturday, she calls Ellie and invites her to come with her. Ellie loves spending time with her aunt, so she says yes immediately. They meet at the mall entrance at noon.

Angie wants to buy a new smartwatch. She shows Ellie different options and asks her opinion. Ellie helps her choose one — it has a blue band and Angie loves it. She buys it and puts it on right away. Then Ellie sees a jacket she likes. Angie looks at it with her and tells her it looks great on her.

After shopping, they go to the food court. Angie orders her usual Japanese food and Ellie gets a burger. They sit together and talk about everything — work, school, family. Angie always listens to her niece and gives her good advice. Ellie loves her aunt for that.

On Friday evening, Daniel meets his girlfriend Riley at the cinema. She is already there when he arrives. He sees her near the entrance and waves at her. She smiles at him and they walk inside together.

Riley wants to see a horror movie. Daniel doesn't like them very much — they scare him — but he wants to make her happy. So he buys the tickets for her and they go in. He buys popcorn for them and they find their seats.

Twenty minutes into the movie, Daniel covers his eyes. Riley looks at him and laughs. She takes his hand and tells him it is okay. He laughs at himself too. After the movie, she asks him what he thinks. "I think I need a comedy next time," he tells her. She agrees with him and they both laugh on their way out.
